After seeing the ruins in Rome and being in such a happening city as Istanbul, Athens was a bit of a disappointment. Our hostel was the 2nd worst, though in a great location (I’m surprised I didn’t get more bed bugs there). There wasn’t much to see besides Acropolis and a few other scattered ruins. Though the touristy areas were nice the rest of Athens is like a desert. Sadly, I don't feel any desire to go back to Greece. If I ever do, I’ll have to do a lot of research to find the good things.
